Welcome to Friends of Strays Christmas in July Fundraiser! This is your chance to give the gift of life to homeless dogs and cats in our community and throughout the state of Florida, and we thank you for your support and partnership!

All proceeds help save the lives of dogs and cats, giving them the healthy, happy lives they deserve!

Donors giving $25 or more can name a dog or cat in our shelter. See below.
Donors giving $50 or more will also receive a Friends of Strays canvas tote, mailed to the address provided.
For every $50 donated, you will get one entry to win a kayak! (Drawing will take place on July 31.)

Friends of Strays Animal Shelter takes pride in saving the lives of abandoned animals in Pinellas County With over 100 cats and dogs visiting our shelter at any given time, Friends of Strays strives to provide the utmost love and care for every animal that comes through our doors.

Our staff is dedicated to helping the homeless animals in our care find their forever homes. We understand the unique bond that a person has with their companion animals and how that relationship can provide a sense of well-being and comfort for many years.

Founded in 1978, we are community-focused, working together to make an impact in the lives of humans and animals through our many programs, including the Pet Guardianship Program, Pets for Patriots, and MEOW Now.

As a nonprofit organization, our lifesaving success depends on the individual, business, and planned giving donations. We thank you, the generous members of our community, for your support and concern for the abandoned animals we all love. We realize that our efforts on behalf of the animals would not be possible without you.
